Hi all,
I'm going to simulate a quartz tube with heat flux outside the tube to heat the medium in the tube. How can I mesh this problem?
Thank you!

Hi

I used the search function in this forum "heat flux wall"
result: http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/ope...ible-case.html seems good

and for the tube a wedge should be sufficient http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/ope...-possible.html

I don't know which and where to include the material constants for quartz.

regards
Alex
