Hi,
I convert one ascii mesh file from fluent 14.5 to openfoam 2.3 and OF 3.1 ext. Everything works fine when I open it paraview. However, the generated files 'points' &'neighbour' and 'owner' can't be read and I need them for post-processing. The msh file looks OK and just the precision of the points data is long (17) compared to the .msh file in tutorial. Will that be the problem? Even when I try to change the accepted default precision (from 10 to 20) in fluent3DMeshToFoam. It still can't be solved. It was running well before, so I guess it comes from any update? Have you experienced the same? Would you please help me out? Many thanks! |

I've found it by myself. In system/controlDict, there is specified saved data in binary format. That's why it can't be seen.
