Hi,
I'm wondering if it is possible to use a hexcore mesh in OpenFOAM. In the past I generated some hexcore meshes in TGRID and ran the calculations in FLUENT. Is it possible to take those meshes and convert them via fluent3dToFoam to a FOAM valid grid? Or will OpenFOAM change the hexahedrons into tetrahedrons? Does anybody have experience? I appreciate any help. |

In general, yes. However, conversation makes rarely troubles and interfaces in you mesh may make thinks complicate... Or will OpenFOAM change the hexahedrons into tetrahedrons? No Regards |
