Internal surface import from gambit

Hi! I'm trying to import a gambit mesh with two internal shell surfaces representing table surfaces in an office room.

As a result the two imported surfaces are merged in a single one, with different geometry, reporting the fellowing message:

Patch table_2 is internal to the mesh and is not being added to the boundary.
Patch table_1 is internal to the mesh and is not being added to the boundary.

Any suggestion?

Thanks in advance

Michele

My suggestion:
save mesh as a fluent-mesh file in gambit, and
then convert it into openFoam, using fluent3DMeshToFoam.
