Hi,
I'm beginner in creating Meshes with sHM and my first steps were okay i think . But now i have a Problem. No matter what i do, the Mesh is fine near the symmetry plane and gets worse to the outside. I already tried different settings in the snappyHexMeshDict, but so far nothing really helped. I attached my snappyHexMeshDict, the logfile of snappy and some pictures that may help to understand my problem I hope someone here can help me ! Regards, Iko |

Your sHM log at some point says:
Code:
Did not succesfully snap mesh. Giving up. Don't know how to solve this but it may point you to the right direction… |

Thanks for your help, I just solved my problem
I didn't declared the symmetry plain as a symmetry plain in the blockMeshDict ... After i did that everything went fine ! Thanks a lot ! |
