Hi Elvis,

Thanks, I had forgotten to update the link to the new location! It's now fixed: http://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/Sn...als_and_Guides

I'll keep the existing copy of the presentation present at openfoamwiki.net, just in case SourceForge.net has yet another one of those crazy net-outages...

Best regards,
Bruno

Hello Bruno,

thanks a lot for your awesome contributions,
maybe it is worth to add Alejandro Roger Ullīs final project
http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/ope...tml#post368540 as another tutorial for the Generate 2D meshes section of the wiki page

Hi Elvis,

How could I have forgotten that tutorial!! Done! I've added to the wiki.

But you could have added yourself, since the wiki is open!

Best regards,
Bruno

Hi, I reuse this topic because my question may be related to the topic.

I have to perform a CFD analysis of an internal flow with OF. I receive a CAD model of the (external) pipe geometry.

My question is: should I use the geometry of the fluid domain or the geometry of the "external" pipe to mesh it in blockMesh+SHMesh?

Quick answer: If you need to mesh only the inside of the pipe, then you do not need the external side of the pipe.
