Problem in sHM

Hi Foamers,

I'm working on a bent tube and I've reached the 100% layer distribution but I have some problem in several parts of model. I may to use a snapEdge to refine boundary but the result is very warped. When I try to run a simulation with illegal mesh, I can't to reach the right tolerance that i want (10^5). I posted fvSchemes fvSolution files too, maybe somebody know how to do. give me a help!!

Regards,
vincenzo

Greetings Vincenzo,

From your description, it's very complicated to help you without additional information.

Therefore, here are few questions:
  • Which OpenFOAM version are you using?
  • If you tried snapEdge, does that mean you're using an OpenFOAM version below 2.0.0?
  • Have you read the information and tutorials provided here: http://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/SnappyHexMesh
  • Can you provide a small example case of what you're trying to do? In other words, something conceptually similar, but a lot more simple, such as a cube or a parallelepipedic shape.
Best regards,
Bruno
