Hi,
I am a new user of OpenFoam. I created an object with Autocad, exported this to an stl file and use it as my snappyhexmesh object. this is three pipes connected. I want to insert a box of water inside the snappyhexmesh object and simulate something like a dambreak but I cannot find a way. Do you know how can I do this? Thank you very much Last edited by raysark; December 4, 2012 at 19:14. |

Though probably you already found another solution for the problem:
I think this is not any more a problem to be dealt with using snappyHexMesh. What you probably want to use is the setFields-function. With that you can define an initial zone with alpha = 1.0. I guess it would be explained within the damBreak tutorial. What you need to write on your own is a setFieldsDict-file... |
