Hi All,
I tried sHM my external flow model. What I got is this error Surface refinement iteration 0 ------------------------------ Marked for refinement due to surface intersection : 0 cells. Marked for refinement due to curvature/regions : 14 cells. Determined cells to refine in = 0.22 s Selected for refinement : 14 cells (out of 165486) hexRef8 : Dumping cell as obj to "/home/cnf0550/0304/cell_21677.obj" --> FOAM FATAL ERROR: nAnchors:2 faceI:502672 From function createInternalFaces(..) in file polyTopoChange/polyTopoChange/hexRef8.C at line 1277. Greetings Lana,
You're not providing much information to work with... from the error message, I can only assume that it's having trouble with meshing around a highly detailed part of the geometry, which leads to problems. Or the geometry is has some flaws that are hard to work with. And you're using OpenFOAM 1.6.x ? Is there any chance you can upgrade to OpenFOAM 2.2? Because snappyHexMesh is a lot better in OpenFOAM 2.2... Best regards, Bruno PS: I suggest that you read this thread: How to give enough info to get help
