[snappyHexMesh] Mesh quality control in snappyHexMesh - OpenFOAM 2.3.0

Hi there I am trying to find a way to change the mesh quality controls on the new snappyHexMesh that came with OpenFOAM 2.3.0. I was wondering if anyone knew how I could change them as they currently in a protected file in OpenFOAM.

Hi,

what do you mean with 'protected file'? Wrong file permissions in your OpenFOAM distribution?

Mesh quality controls can be changed in the dictionary 'meshQualityControls' within the file system/snappyHexMeshDict of your current OpenFOAM case. See https://github.com/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM...ppyHexMeshDict for an example.

The mesh quality controls may also be defined in a separate file and included into the system/snappyHexMeshDict (or any other config file that may need mesh quality settings). This has been done in https://github.com/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM...ppyHexMeshDict.
