Trying to replicate DTCHull tutorial
 
Hi everyone,
I just started using OpenFOAM about a week ago. I'm working on a project similar to the tutorial located in
Code:
/multiphase/interDyMFoam/ras/DTCHull
and so I'm trying to understand the ins and outs of this tutorial.

It has an Allrun executable that solves the entire problem and I'm trying to decompose it to see what each step does. I've found that the line

Code:
runApplication snappyHexMesh -overwrite
produces different behaviour than calling snappyHexMesh from the command line. Why is this, and how can I perform this step correctly from the command line in the future?
