Hi all,
I read some threads about featureEdge refinement and some problems which occure if you apply featureEdge refinement. Therefor I checked out a few things and got some nice and interesting knowledge that I want to share with you. I just wanted to mesh a cylinder and refine the features with level 2. The result is in picture #1. You see on the left side, that the feature refinement is not applied in the whole region. Only a few cells are refined with level 2. After playing around with blender and the eMesh I found, that sHM has some bug or more like a problem, finding these lines after refinement level 1 because if I move the feature edge on the left down the z-axis with 0,00001 m you can see that the result is like you expect (see picture 2). I also tried to use the levels instead of level to check if its working with distances and what we see is what we expect. The result is like in picture 2. Done (: Summary
Hope it will help some guys, Take care
