Hello everyone,
I just start to use openFOAM. My model is simple, so I choose snappyHexMesh to make mesh on model(created by proE). STL model can be exported from proE, but it can't be separated into patchs. what can I do to salve it?
Could you please help me?

it's easy to use converge to transform the patch.

You may have to make a seperate STL file for each patch.

Hi!

Maybe this will help.

I wrote this to automatically split .stl files into their component faces. It's pretty hacky at the moment, but I'd appreciate any feedback.

Thanks for your advice. I made a seperate STL file, and copy them into one file.

Thank you for your share, I will try it next time.
I seperated it with converge, and It's easy to use.
