Hi all,

I would appreciate it a lot, if you could give me provide me some useful suggestions. I am running a snappyHexMesh case with a stl structure inside. I decided to go with 4 refinement Layers at this stage. After several weeks, and thanks to this forum, I am finally able to generate a mesh that passes the checkMesh. The case I am running is based on the channel 364 tutorial, but I use it with inlet outlet boundary’s, instead of the cyclic ones. However, if I run the case and check the velocity field there are strange alternating velocities becoming visible, which seem to follow the refinement layers (please see pictures). I tried to reduce the time step but it did not really help. So I am kind of lost because I am not sure, if these alternating flow speeds are related again the mesh, or if there is something bad related to the solution. ? Thank you sooo much!!!
