[snappyHexMesh] sHM not writing patches to boundary file -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

Pelican New Member Paul Schroder Join Date: Nov 2017 Posts: 1 Rep Power: 0	I'm learning sHM. I have to admit that I'm not sure I understand the User Guide discussion of sHMDict. I have a simple model to start with, and started having a bit of success with it, but following an error in sHMDict (which I fixed) I don't get any results at all. When I look at the mesh in ParaView, now I only see the blockMesh, nothing inside, while previously I could at least see a wall. When I look at the boundary file, sHM now adds no patches to the patch list. Any ideas about what mistake I have made?
