Dear all,

How is it possible that I have foamyHexMexh and the other foamy meshing tool NOT installed with my OpenFOAM 5.0 in Ubuntu 17, but I DO have the tutorials?

Any way of fixing this?

Regards,
C.

It's probably not compiled. I find that every time I compile the whole suite of packages, there are some that fail quite often, incl foamyHexMesh. Go into the source and try to compile/recompile foamyHexMesh. You might need to try a few times, checking the error messages and acting accordingly.

I am a beginner (haven't even used foamyHexMesh) but all I know is that the source code for these applications are in the following directory:

$WM_PROJECT_DIR/applications/utilities/mesh/generation

Hope this helps
