I am Alessandro and I am a beginner in OpenFOAM...
is possible to do tetrahedral or polyhedral mesh OpenFoam (without using another software)?? and a prism layer??
If yes, how can I do??
thanks for your help!!!

I think you actually can create a tetrahedral mesh using blockMesh. When defining the blocks, use tet instead of hex.
Look at http://www.openfoam.com/docs/user/me...23-1320005.1.2
At the bottom all possible geometries are shown with their keyword: tet, pyr, hex ....
