Dear foamers
I am trying to simulate splashing a liquid bubble in side a cuboid by using interFoam. My case is 3D incompressible, laminar. I have changed the dambreak case to be like what I want and used setFields utility to create this liquid bubble inside my region. Now I want to give this liquid bubble initial condition for velocity and make it 2.89 m/s rather than 0, but i do not how to do it. Do i have to change just the U dictionary in the 0 folder, and If so, how? please any one has an idea or suggestion because I am new in OF.... atheel, |

Hi,
sorry for the late reply, hope it's still useful. As far as I understand you've already used the setFields utility to set the alpha field. You can use the same tool to set U vector field to the desired value for the bubble domain. Cutter |
