I have a rotor mesh and stator mesh (Fluent case files). How do I merge the meshes and setup an AMI cyclic problem in openfoam?

Hey Adrian,

If you are using OpenFOAM from openfoam.org, do the following steps,

1) Create a folder lets say AMISimuation
2) Within this folder create two separate folders containing stator mesh and rotor mesh
3) Openterminal, and go to AMISimulation folder and type, mergeMeshes Folder-rotor Folder-stator
4) You can find the merged mesh in Folder-rotor, usually written in the first time step folder
