Removing bad cell using subsetmesh-good????

Hello people,

I gotta know that using mesh utilities like cellSet and subsetMesh we can simply remove the bad cells from our mesh. But this creates voids in the domain. I was wondering whether these voids have any effect on the solution or not. How OF handles such voids??

So basically it boils down to: "Whether it is a good idea to simply remove bad cells using subsetMesh??"

Please enlighten me on this issue.

Thank you very much..:)
