ignacio is on a distinguished road
Hello,

I have been trying to figure out how to merge two pieces of a cube which have different sizes of Hexa meshes.

I don't manage to do it, all I get is the same size of cell at each side when I do "merge".

Does anybody know how to do this?
Do you know if it's better to do split the bodies and then "stitch" them using OpenFOAM?

Thanks a lot for any kind of answer

for that case, you can create interface (non conformal) between two meshes. Otherwise merge operation of hexa to hexa blocking is not recommended in ICEM and for that meshes should be same at the interface.
