Hello everybody.
I'm trying to understand how snappyHexMesh works in OF211. I created my mesh and now I'm trying to define BCs. The case is an internal flow. Let's consider, as an example, the case of a simple straight tube. I created the tube walls as separated STL files. The I used snappyHexMesh to create the mesh. I defined an external box witch contains all the tube. The mesh generation succeeded. My problem is that OF asks me to define any BC for the external box walls. What condition should I define? I don't need that patches, I only want to study the geometry contained in the box! |

Hello..
Perhapes I did not specify my problem the right way. I'm trying to use snappyHexMesh to create meshes for internal fluid dynamics. I don't know what I am doing wrong but in the boundary file I found the wall of the "box" I used to create the mesh. What do I have to do to correct?
