Mapping 2D Axisymmetric Results to 3D

Hi Foamers,

I'm trying to solve the flow fields in an axisymmetric model and use the results for legrangian particle tracking. Is there a utility to take 2D wedge and attach the fronts and backs to create a 360 degree extrusion?

It seems like I could use some of the mesh stitching utilities to accomplish this. I could probably write a utility to do it myself but I don't have much experience coding with the meshing side of things and was just hoping that there was some utility out there for me to use.

Thanks in advance!

Eric

So I have figured out half of the problem which is to use the extrudeMesh utility to create a 3D rotated extrusion of the axisymmetric mesh.

Now all I have to do is to figure out how to rotate and map the results iteratively over the entire domain... Anyone have any suggestions?
