I have a problem with simple grading. I think its an understanding problem but i do not get it.
I ha´ve a block 24mm in x and I want to have a meshsize wof the first block of 1mm.
How can i achiev that?

Thats how i do it now but here I have along x all elements with 1mm and I want to save some elements.
hex (0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7) (24 10 10) simpleGrading (1 1 1)

What do you mean with "save some elements"? Please describe your problem more.
