Hello,

I am trying to write a Python script, using the ExodusII API and mesh format, to convert ExodusII mesh/data to OpenFOAM and vice versa. The only trouble that I have run into is in figuring how to generate the "neighbours" file polyMesh.

I checked through the forum, and there are some antiquated comments but they are also not even helpful. The general consensus is to write a different type of mesh (like prostar4) and then convert to OpenFOAM using the built-in utilities.

Does anyone have a pseudocode-approach that would help me understand the neighbours structure?

Thanks,

Jesse
