Is it possible to mesh pipe T-joint without stl-surfaces?
Greetings to all!
Since I hate having to repeat myself and since this is a curious question, I though it was best to post it publicly. The question that was made to me was this: Quote:
The only problem might be that I vaguely remember that OpenFOAM 2.3.0 might have a bug regarding not using STL files, therefore it's necessary to build from source code OpenFOAM 2.3.x. The bug report in question is this one: http://www.openfoam.org/mantisbt/view.php?id=1303 edit: By the way, swak4Foam provides a way to have complex mathematical shapes as searchable regions in snappyHexMesh... let me see if I can find something about it... Ah, here you go: http://openfoamwiki.net/images/6/6d/...ining_OFW8.pdf - start reading from the slide #93 Best regards, Bruno |
