Strange behavior of sHM in a simple case
 

Hi all,

well maybe someone of you guys can tell me why this happens!
After working for more than 3 years with sHM and managed to mesh very complex geometries there is still one thing can't figure out. In the attachment you see the castellated step of sHM. I meshed a very simple geometry and set nCellsBetweenLayers to 3. But then I get a periodically repeat of 3 cells between and 5 cells between.

Any idea?
