Hi everyone,
I am looking for a method to coarsen my mesh in OpenFoam. The case I am studying is to model multiples particles in air using VOF/LPT approach. I need the fine mesh to capture the details of the gas phase while LPT to track particles. I have a very fine initial mesh and I need an algorithm to coarse the mesh around particles so the mesh size fulfills the requirement of particle tracking. I know that OpenFoam can do adaptive mesh refinement using certain refinement parameters, I wonder if it is possible to do it the other way around. Please advice me if you have any ideas. Thank you in advance |
