Hi,

I'm trying to solve a chtMultiRegionFoam problem and I'm creating the geometry and the mesh on Salome.

I'm having troubles when I export the geometry to OpenFoam: in fact, when I lunch the command ideasUnvToFoam, I realize that some of my faces are patches (as it should be), and others are facezone. This is giving me some problems, since when I use the command ideasUnvToFoam, I get the following error

ideasUnvToFoam: ideasUnvToFoam.C:1273: int main(int, char**): Assertion `noveau > -1' failed.

Aborted (core dumped)

Could anyone help me please? I'll leave you my hdf file

Thanks in advance!!!

The problem raises once you generate a face (for instance, once you make an extrusion) that is an interface between two objects (two solids or one fluid and one solid). So, what you can do is to check that every extrusion has its own faces (and not "shared" faces): one way to solve this problem is to generate the faces (that will be used for extrusion) from lines; then, these lines will not be used by any other extrusion face.

I hope it helps!
