Hi Guys,
I am working with a multi-Region mesh with a gas as a cylindrical volume surrounded by a solid container. The boundary seems smooth and fine but only around the edge of clinder, there are some cells which should have belonged to the other side of the boundary.
You can see there are 5 patches of solid written into abgas boundary and 3 from gas written into solid.
I am attaching rest of the pics and the scripts in the comments below.
Thanks
Vineet

Here are the pics of solid and scripts. (I had it compressed as .rar and changed the Format to .zip. I am not sure if that works fine)

I have found a probable reson for this problem. I am attaching the ouput of
Code:
checkMesh -region solid -latestTime -allGeometry
The problem is with concave cells. When I had tried using only checkMesh, there was no error. This error is displayed only when I use the option -allGeometry.

Has anyone faced a similar problem before? It seems like I am talking to myself. I just speculate that it was the reason...I have not found any solution (Infact not even sure concave faces/cells are really creating the problem)

Hi Vineet,

Can we have a look at your snappyHexMeshDict ?
