salome+gmesh+openfoam?
 

hi friend
i have some question please guide me.i designed a 2d geometry in salome and meshed. i want export that to openfoam
question
1-openfoam can recognise 2d geometry and mesh or not?
2-if it should change 3d geometry what thickness consider for z direction?
3-i split my face 2d geometry and create partition to better meshed what i can to do for create group for inlet and outlet ?my geometry is a train.
4- is Gmesh a open source software ?
