It may be a weird question, but that's what i am facing now.

I am using OpenFoam 2.4.0 to run a fluid simulation over a pipe in 2D and i build the geometry using blockMesh. I build a circular pipe by define a square first, then use arc to make it circular.

The weird thing is that if i left the pipe to be square and run the simulation, everything goes fine. However, if i use the arc and make the pipe be circular, i faced the problem that dT is constant shrinking during the simulation (about half the size of previous iteration), which leads to a really small dT value, then the simulation breaks down.

Anyone have any suggestions for me.

before run the simulation, use "checkMesh" to investigate mesh quality
