Can any suggest me some stuff or explain the need of user defined region as belowin snappyhexaMeshdict?
how it is defined?
what is the need of it?


refinementBox //USER DEFINED REGION NAME

refinementSphere //USER DEFINED REGION NAME

type searchableSphere;

Hi,

refinementRegion, as the name implies is for a region/volume. So if you want to refine all cells within a particular volume, you will use this option.
