Netgen or Gmsh surfaces of Volume mesh.

Hi,

I am new to netgen and gmsh. I would like to know how do this for either but would prefer both.

In batch mode, I can easily create a volume mesh. But I need the elements of the top surface in its' own set for one object and the elements of the bottom surface of the other object. For creating a contact pair (Friction). The surfaces will be impacted so surface meshes do not work. So in batch mode is there away to create the volume mesh and a set of elements that create the top/bottom surface and output it into one input file?

I have created a .brep file in freecad. I can export that to a different file type if need be.

I prefer batch mode, so I can streamline the process later on. Since I will have to repeat this many times.

This was hard to word, so if I need to clear something up, let me know, or if anymore information is need.

Thanks in advance.
