Hi all,
I've been running snappyHexMesh for the first time and I was wondering on how to "retool" a mesh.
I mean snappy gave me a quite good mesh but in some few points I have some bad things like that : (see on the picture below).

To be more precise, here are my questions:

FIRST:
Is it possible to keep this mesh but just fixing this few problem or do I have to make another mesh changing some parameter on my snappyhexmeshdict ?

SECOND:
If I have to make a complete new mesh, what parameter should I change on my snappycheckMeshDict to avoid this kind of problem ?

THIRD:
If it's possible juste to "reetool" this mesh, how would I do that ?

LAST BUT NOT LEAST:
I've been running checkMesh on this mesh and it told me "OK"...
How could this mesh be "OK" ?!
In fact my mesh seemed quit good at first sight but when I cut it in two (using paraView) I saw these faults in it.
It's not because we can't see the default that means there is no default... So How to be sure if checkMesh doesn't do his job ??

Uncheck in paraview the option "Decompose polyhedra" and you see the "real" mesh.

When you load the case under properties.

Ok, in fact this option doesn't appear in my case.
In fact it appearsonly if I launch my "decomposed mesh". There I can define if I want to use decompose polyhedral or not (But it doesn't work... When I tried to apply my case with this option uncheck, ParaView was freezing... :c )

I don't know how big your mesh is and what machine you have at your disposal.
The option is also present for single core simulations, maybe you have to click on the "gear wheel" to see the advanced options. If not, refer to the paraview help.
SnappyHexMesh produces polyhedras at the boundary and paraview decomposes them for postprocessing, that is what you are seeing.
