patch problem

Hi all,
I need a little help, please. I'm trying to build a mesh with snappyHexMesh, it consist basically in a series of pipes, some of which are concentrics. Following your advice I first draw a cad model and add two bidimensional disks for the inlet and outlet patches inside the 3d model. Then I export three stl files, inlet outlet and main body, and after converting them from binary to ascii I merge them in a single file. I can correctly import the stl with patches inside in discretizer and build the mesh, but I see in parafoam that only outlet and main body are listed along with internal mesh, which was not inside my stl file. I can't understand why inlet is missing and outlet is available.
Thanks for any help.
