SnappyHexMesh does not add layer in edges
 

Hello Forum,

I have added layers to a cylinder but at the edge the layer is not continued until the edge. I us the same patch (Outlet) for the layer but I can not figure out why at the edge I can not get layers. Do I have to change some settings? Attached I added some pictures and the code of snappyHexMeshDict.

If somebody has any idea please let me know.

Hi,

I have already had some problems like that. SnappyhexMesh does not seem to be very efficient to add layers, especially in corners. I have not found any solutions on the internet.

For me, the best solution is to use refinementSurface.
