mesh interface for multi region

Hi

I want to mesh two region contain a cylinder inside a cube, so there is two region :
first , cylinder . second, region between cylinder and cube.
when i mesh both region by gambit i define one interface between them.

i use chtMultiRegionFoam as solver.

problem;;

conduction heat transfer between these regions.
But temoerature distribution shows that there is no connection between these region because one region doesnt sense the heat and temperature rise.

question::
1. how to mesh or define interface in this problem to connect these regions.

any idea is welcome.

best regards.

Hi Jam,

what boundary condition have you defined for the interface between 2 regions?

Hi
I defined internal boundary condition in gambit,

I've not used gambit so i'm not sure about how it handle the boundary condition, but if i'm not wrong you can try the cyclic boundary condition in this case because it allows two faces to communicate and exchange the data.
