FoamedOver, overset grids or immersed boundary
I am attempting to use compressibleInterDyMFoam to simulate a body moving through a jet of fluid. The body will move a large distance (many body lengths) through the volume. Overset grids seem to be the best way to simulate the motion, but I can't find tools ready to run with Openfoam 3 (or Openfoam 4). Has FoamedOver been maintained? Or does anyone have an immersed boundary method working?
Any Advice would be appreciated. Regards, Lenny |

Hi,
There is another overset library available for the OpenFOAM foundation version called Bellerophon (https://github.com/bellero/bellerophon). Best, Mikko |
Hi,
I found that the source code of overset mesh has been released, and I applied for the source code. However, I have not received a reply. Do you have the source code? If you have it, could you please share a copy with me? My email is yin_luo@outlook.com. Thank you so much! Best Regards, Kevin |
