Creating a gate in blockMesh
 

Hi foamers,

This is my first post in CFD online and a beginner openFoam user. I am trying to simulate a LCPC box simulation for fresh concrete as shown in the attachment.

I have created my geometry using blockMesh and I am trying to create a gate in the box, so that when we open the gate the concrete could flow in the channel.

Please help me out!!

hey its easy
first understand blockmesh stands for block...means everything is in the form of a block. so try to slice the whole gate geometry in the form of a block and u can name individual blocks and get started. your image is too small to see anything..try sending good image with proper dimensions
