Hello, I'm trying to mesh my case. The images of my geometry/blockMeshDict are attached here.
I'm just trying to do the 3rd block, it's a trapezoidal block (vertices 15 16 15 1 14 18 19 5) But when I run blockMesh on terminal, he say "Inconsistent number of faces between block pair 2 and 3" how you can see on the image attached. I think the problem is from the order of the vertices in block 3. Can someone help me? I have to finish this for my research. Thank you so much. |

Hi,
If you look at your definitions for the two blocks you will see that for block 2, the number of divisions on the line connecting vertices 15 & 1 is 41. In block 3, for the same line connecting the same vertices, the number of divisions is 18. That is where your inconsistency comes from. Cheers, Antimony |
