I hope someone can help me out with the following...

I need to mesh a geometry which is generated by subtracting one stl to another. So far so good, snappy does the job. However I'd like snappy to snap to the edges which are created by this subtracion....

I'm not a pro snappy user, here are the snap controls that i'm using:
