refining mesh in snappyHexMesh

Good pm. Can you help me find a way on how to refine my mesh via snappyHexMesh? I used it for my model and it was successful in meshing the model, however, upon opening the files in paraview (both the mesh and with the original model), I could see a big difference (see attached photos). Does this mean that I didn't refine the mesh very well? Where can the problem be? Thank you for your consideration on this one.
