How to Mesh (Unlucky with ANSYS & sHM) ?

Hello,
i want to describe my situation:
I work with OpenFOAM but the meshing situation is a bit unlucky. It all starts with a 3D Model from Solidworks/siemens NX. The first approach was to export it to STEP, triangulate a STL File from it with Salome, make it multi-region STL and then mesh it with sHM. Then i decompose the case and solve it in parallel.
The problem here was that Salome often couldn't handle our files. It crashed very often, because the geometry was big with very small gaps. So we came to the second approach and tested and bought ANSYS Meshing. The Workflow is much easier und faster but there is one negativ aspect: I cannot decompose the case anylonger. There is simply one big mesh and thats it. I would like to have the best of both approaches. I would like to have robust meshing of (not-so-clean) cad and i want to decompose the case. Or is there commercial software to triangulate SolidWorks/Siemens NX CAD files to STL files? Unfortunately the STL Exportquality of Solidworks is really bad and it is not multi-region.
