Hi Everyone,

I'm a new user to OpenFOAM and snappyHexMesh. I am able to Mesh a component and run a simulation using SnappyHexMesh. I was trying to learn the background of all these operations using OpenFOAM. In the Meshing part of snappyHexMesh m not able to understand the calculations happening in the snapping and Boundary layer generation phase.

can anyone help me in understanding what the calculations are done by snappyHexmesh during the snapping and the Boundary Layer generation phase. Any equations involved would help me a lot.
