Creating multiple unconnected solid elements with snappyHexMesh

1 Attachment(s)
Hello,

I want to do a FSI of multiple unconnected cylinders in 2D. Already managed to do it with one cylinder by using sHM.

The next step would be to implement multiple unconnected cylinders with snappyHexMesh. Creating the fluid Mesh was no problem (grey mesh).

But creating more than one solid element with one .stl file (containing the cylinders) proved to be tricky. As you can see in the picture sHM only generated the cylinder where locationinmesh was set (blue mesh).

At researching the problem I didnīt find any solution. So before using blockMesh to create these solid elements I reach out to you guys :)
Does anyone know a method to implement unconnected objects with snappyHexMesh by using one or more .stl files?

solved :)

special thanks to Philip and his proposal in another thread.

So for everyone facing the same problem in the future. A good source of information is page 14/30 in this pdf.
By using mergeMeshes I was able to create this mesh:
