Hello Every One
I am quit new to OpenFoam and I am trying to make mesh for a geometry based on blockmesh. my Code is working good and mesh "on the surface" looks fine, but when I "slice" the mesh (because its 3D), and use "wireframe "I find some irregularities in mesh like some extra lines. I attached a sample photo. Do you know how can I fix this? All checkMesh criteria is fine by the way. Is this Paraview problem or is it really mesh problem? (lnk to photo :https://ibb.co/DMySPgp) Thank you so much in advance |

Hi,
You say checkMesh is fine. How fine is it? All your cells are hexadera? If so, your problem is only representation issue in OF. Dont worry. Good luck Ardalan |

Hello Ardalan
Thanks for your reply. My checkMesh says the mesh is fine. By the way I solved the problem. I do not know why, but my domain was from -z to +z and the only slice that had these irregularities was z=0, so I changed the domain to z=0 to z=2*z and now the irregularities are not there any more. Thanks Milad |
