OK, So I have managed to create a mesh with blockmeshDict, and everything runs without any issues when I convert it using blockMesh.
But now that I have added in the wedge commands, I am getting a number of errors as follows (though I'll only show the first error here).

Creating block mesh topology
--> FOAM Warning :
From function virtual void Foam::wedgePolyPatch::calcGeometry(Foam::PstreamBu ffers&)
in file meshes/polyMesh/polyPatches/constraint/wedge/wedgePolyPatch.C at line 72
Wedge patch 'wedgeleft' is not planar.
At local face at (0 6.66032 0) the normal (-1 0 0) differs from the average normal (-0.944803 0.0960173 -5.36283e-18) by 0.0122661
Either correct the patch or split it into planar parts

My blockmeshDict file is attached as a text file

Any suggestions as to how to correct these errors would be greatly appreciated.

Just before anyone suggests. Yes, I have tried changing the wedges to patches, and it converts/compiles perfectly in blockMesh, without any warnings or errors.
I have tried increasing the writeprecision from 6 to 20, and I have also changed the write format to binary, all without any success.

Regards

Andrew

OK,
So I am finding out a lot of things through trial and error (lots of trial, and humongous amounts of error).
But, success!!!
I have found that blockmesh can be very forgiving for some things, and quite pedantic on others. I had assumed, incorrectly, that blockmesh would just lump all wedge blocks together and 'sort it out in the wash' so to speak.
But, long story short, I had not set up separate wedge regions for the front and back, I had simply called them the same thing. As soon as I created a front wedge group and a back wedge group, everything worked perfectly.

I am not the proud owner of a fully compiled mesh, I will start down the track now of setting up the cht sections of the model.

Here is my now working blockmesh file.

When I tidy it up, I will post my excel workbook that does all the calculations in case anyone would be interested.
