hi
i am new at working with OpenFOAM, and i want to import a 2D geometry into openFoam. i draw the geometry in Ansys Design Modeler, i generated the mesh with Ansys Mesh and finally i exported as *.msh .
i entered "fluent3DMeshToFoam *.msh" in order to convert it, but i faced following massage in the terminal.

// * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * //

Create time

Dimension of grid: 2
Number of points: 3931
Number of faces: 7585
Number of cells: 3655
--> FOAM Warning : Found unknown block of type: "3010"
on line 14

--> FOAM FATAL ERROR:
Do not understand characters:
on line 15

From function virtual int yyFlexLexer::yylex()
in file fluent3DMeshToFoam.L at line 763.

FOAM exiting

// * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * //

also i am using a windows version of the terminal.

Did you export your Mesh as ascii-File? There is a systemoption in Ansys to export as ascii and not as binary.
