Number of nodes for proper heat transfer in thin solid

Hi Foamers,

I am currently trying to mesh a radially finned tube heat exchanger to conduct a conjugate heat transfer simulation using chtMultiRegionSimpleFoam solver. Currently, I am stuck in terms of the total number of elements as I tried to have at least four nodes across the thickness of each fin to properly capture the radial heat transfer from the tube wall (i.e. the fin base) towards the fin tip. Just wanted to ask if the strategy for the number of nodes is fine and also for any recommendations on how to reduce the total number of elements.
